AMCHAM is a non-governmental and non-profitable organization. The American Chamber of Commerce in São Paulo gathers around 5.560 partners, amongst small, medium and large companies. Today, Amcham São Paulo reaches Brazil through a network of branches located in the country's major business centers: Bahia, Campinas, Brasília, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Pernambuco and Rio Grande do Sul. The associated companies are in all economy areas employing 1,6 million workers. 70% of the companies are Brazilian, 20% American and 10% others.
