Investigating request and response data

Under "Scanner Resource" section, you will have the ability to invoke either "HTTP request" or "HTTP response" options (under "URI Options"). These are the raw HTTP communication data exchanged between N-Stalker's spider engine and application's web server.

 

If you need to investigate further information, there are a couple of controls available to assist you. Click on "HTTP response" or "HTTP request" and search for the tool bar in the bottom area:

You may enlarge or reduce the font size to better assess the HTML code.

Enter an expression to be searched among the text area
(See options below for regular expression and case sensitivity support).

scanner-resource-6 Match case

This button will toggle on case sensitivity support while searching for expressions in the HTML code.

This button will toggle on regular expression (RegEx) support while searching for expressions in the HTML code.
