Beta Testing for 2012 has initiated

By Thiago Zaninotti on December 20, 2010

We are excited to announce that Beta testing has already initiated for version 2012. The initial tested version was firstly called Beta 2010 but we have moved to a final version that is being consider as a release candidate.

Our initial goal is to enhance speed, general performance, add new security checks capacity and migrate our signature database to a more accurate script engine based on LUA language. We have elected the latter as a primary script language due to its fantastic speed and flexibility. Our new experience include:

  • New scripts
  • New HTTP fingerprinting engine
  • Faster spider mechanism and DOM processing
  • New false-positive detection mechanism and filtering

We are working fast to release this new version by June/July 2012. Any comments/suggestions are very welcome at this point.
